With all the coverage of Sven and David Beckham’s resignations you can be forgiven for missing the fact that I handed in my notice this week.

I had planned to spend another 12 to 18 months in my present employment before changing careers, but I came back from holiday, spent two days in work and decided I had had enough.

What next? I have lots of options but as yet no firm plans, which in itself is nice.
