It’s been a slow week for me.

You can probably tell by the lack of posting. I haven’t been able to focus on anything for long. I’ve made little progress anywhere.

It hasn’t helped that my email has been on the blink for the last couple of days. I didn’t realise how much I missed it ’till It was no longer there.

I need a song to reset my mood.

I need this….

I am out this Saturday for Halloween.

Last year was interesting. Hopefully this year will be as much fun.

I thought I would select a suitably spooky track. I’d forgotten this song existed until I saw Donnie Darko. A classic from the 80s with hair styles to match. It takes me back to my college days.

The line “Fate, up against your will” has been the theme of my adult life. But, I’ve survived the horror show. I am living the life I choose to live. I am happy doing so.

Screw fate!

“Time is driftin’, this rock has got to roll…”

A funky number from the 70s. A track from my teens which set me on the road to rock and roll. I love the vocals. But the sentiments seem a little dated now.

I would like to dedicate this to ageing hippies everywhere and those good folk at Virgin Media.

I have every expectation of being on the phone to you again soon.
