My latest toy is Adobe Photoshop. It’s a very expensive toy. Actually, I bought CS5 Web Premium, I really do not like to think about how much that cost. It’s worth it though. Like anything, building websites is much easier if you have the right tools.

There’s a huge learning curve on all the products involved. My background is backend development, so this is mostly new to me. It’s part of my long term strategy of acquiring more skills in the web site production chain. Mainly because there is never a WordPress theme that completely meets my requirements.

It will also allow me to work in whatever part of the chain is most profitable at any time.

“Remember, remember the 5th of November, gunpowder, treason and plot.”

On 5th of November, 1605, a bunch of despicable Catholic conspirators attempted blow up the Houses of Parliament, MPs, King and all.

The dastardly plot was foiled. Guy Fawkes was caught red handed with a pile of gunpowder underneath the Parliament building.

Protestant UK still commemorates the failure with firework and bonfires. But, as we live in enlightened times we no longer burn real live Catholics. Instead we make do with burning effigies of Guy Fawkes.
